For one night, or one week…Luxury Self Catering Gîte in Normandy, Francewith heated swimming pool
La Ferme was once the farmstead of a working farm, and is a typical Normandy longere. It has been sensitively and lovingly renovated and restored, and is now available to rent for self catering holidays during July and August. It is a bit smaller than La Grange, and is perhaps more intimate. This makes it ideal for a couple, with 1 or 2 children – or 2 couples.
There is a comfortable lounge, a separate dining room, and a well equipped kitchen with 2 ovens, a large fridge-freezer, and a dishwasher. Off the kitchen is an east facing conservatory, that has great views from the house over the Bresle Valley, with table and chairs and makes for a wonderful sunny room for breakfast.
Upstairs there are 2 decent sized, very comfortable ensuite bedrooms. Guests are always speak highly of the quality of the beds and the deep sleep they get at Basse Copette. In one of the 2 rooms, there is a kingsize bed and a single bed. But there is room enough for 3 single beds should this arrangement be preferred. This room has an ensuite shower. The other bedroom has an ensuite bath, and there is a double bed. A washing machine is also available.
In front of the house is a large terrace with a garden table and chairs, and a portable BBQ is also available. From the terrace there are wonderful views over the Bresle Valley.

The nearest boulangerie is just two kilometres from Basse Copette (20 minutes by bicycle there, 4 minutes back) in the village of Campneuseville, and makes fresh baguettes and croissants daily, as well as other treats on the weekends, such as apple turnovers, apple tarts and brioche. In Campneuseville there is also a butcher, a general store and a bar and tabac.
